FUME EXTRACTORS

HE FILTERING UNIT.

APPLICATION
Multi-purpose units for filtering fumes containing whole or soluble oil and/or for all high-efficiency filtering requirements such as welding fumes or very fine particles (with 99.99 % efficiency filters available as an option). The geometry of these models has been specially designed to accommodate active carbon cells which enhance the filtering effect.
The HE units are designed to be fitted with standard filter elements, thus facilitating the supply and management of consumables.

OPERATION

1 The fume-laden air strikes the impact plate, causing condensation.
2 The droplets formed by condensation flow off, by gravity, into the collection tank.
3 The condensate is collected and evacuated.
4 The unit is emptied via the evacuation channel under the unit.
5 The air, from which a large proportion of the suspended particles has now been removed, passes successively through a distributing filter, the separator and a high-efficiency finishing filter.
6 The extraction fan can be positioned either on top of the unit, bolted directly on to the connecting flange, or to the side of the unit.

ELECTRONET 1000 - 2000 - 3000 - 5000.

APPLICATION
The ELECTRONET range of electrostatic separators has been designed for all oil-fume filtering applications, as well as for all high-efficiency filtering requirements. Its filtering principle, using washable electrostatic elements, combines efficiency with economy of use.

OPERATION
1 Suction is generated in the unit by the motor fan group.
2 The fume-laden air passes to the distributing filter.
3 The air then passes to the ioniser element. This element has a voltage of 12000 V which generates a powerful electric field, resulting in ionisation of the solid or liquid particles.
4 The air flow then passes on to the collector (an element made up of aluminium plates subjected to an alternating electric current with a voltage of 0 - 6000 V). The ionised particles are thus trapped on the surface by electrostatic attraction.
5 After running along the electrostatic collector plates, the (electrically neutralized) particles are evacuated via the outlet which is connected to an evacuation channel under the unit.
6 The function of the safety filter is to recover any particles which might become separated from the collector element when the unit is started up or stopped.
